At Transcribe NZ, we take data security seriously. We have secure email and file storage measures to ensure the confidentiality of your data and protection from scamming.  Audio/audiovisual recordings are deleted from our file sharing platform once work is satisfactorily completed.

What is the turnaround time for transcription services?

The turnaround time for transcription services varies depending on the length and complexity of the audio/video files. We strive to deliver accurate transcriptions in a timely manner.  A 1-2 hour meeting can be transcribed in a day.

Can I request specific formatting for transcriptions?
Yes, you can specify any formatting requirements you have for your transcriptions. We will work to meet your specific needs and preferences.

What experience do you have?

Our lead transcriber has 30 years experience in transcribing meeting minutes from notes and recordings.  She has also undertaken transcribing from conferences, and regularly volunteers to transcribe historical documents.

What languages can you transcribe from?

English. We can also transcribe Māori to some extent.
